You really can't compare two players at totally two different positions but I know if I was building a basketball team and got to choose which one i could have, I would pick Tim Duncan. He makes everyone around him better and is not selfish like Kobe is. Duncan carried the spurs to his 3 rings, while Kobe had shaq to carry him for his 3 rings, and Kobe will never win another championship while shaq won another one last year.

It's a pointless argument without an answer. They play completely different positions...unless you mean who's more valuable to his team? That's a more difficult question.

As for "who's better"...they are each better at what they do. Kobe on the perimeter and Duncan down low.

Kobe is one the best guards in the league, no doubt about it. and Duncan is one the best forwards. but if it were up to how the player carries his team mates and how he is as a person, i think i'd go with Tim.

Better at what, they don't play on same position, kobe is a guard while Duncan is PF. Witch one has a better hair cut? :)) I think it's kobe. And I've seen some nice dunks in Duncan's face, but i guess anyways he's kinda slow.

Dunc is the most solid player in the NBA. He is all fundamentals and purely a team player.
Kobe is the best flash player in the NBA. He can make the crowd happy and satisfy the media with his charm.

The NBA needs both kinds of players to make it all work.
