T1: Dedicated network connection running at 1536 kbps. Might be internet access or point-to-point or frame-relay PVC or MPLS cloud.
T2: Doesn't exist any more.
Cable: Broadband Internet access via the TV cable system.
DSL: Broadband Internet access via ordinary phone lines.

First of all, there is no such thing as T2. Cable/DSL almost always has a 1Mbit connection speed. T1 is about 20 times faster than that. T3 is 50 times faster than conventionall DSL.

Not sure about T1 and T2, but Cable is definitely faster than DSL

Cable and DSL are commonly what consumers use, T1 & T2 are industrial grade speeds, common for large businesses.

T1/T2 can handle Gigabit connections to internet,
Cable/DSL can handle only Megabit connections to internet
