I am after desktop printer to print letters and photos. I am willing to spend up to 70 pounds and want the printer to print very good quality photos, and finally I want the ink that goes with the printer to be cheap or if possible to use 3rd party makes.
Anyone know of any printers that meet my requirements?
Please provide with links.

Don't buy Canon, it doesn't recognize 3rd party ink. On the other hand, HP does not take any piece of paper that has some defect.

The cartridge for the X5470 is the Lexmark 1 which costs less than £20 but I couldn't find an exact price because I couldn't find it online, that is, for the UK.
