Because while your out on bond you cant commit any other crimes, if you do then they keep you until he goes in front of the judge on the original charges and the 2nd charges.

In my state, if you are on probation and you get re-arrested then you are placed on an automatic 15 day probation hold. This means that the probationer will spend 15 actual days in jail without bond or until he is released by the original sentencing Court. The bond that you paid was good for the new offense but not the probation violation. In addition, if he was out on bond originally when he was charged with the new offense on the 24th it is likely that he will not be elligible for bond until he sees the judge. It is also likely that a Petition to Revoke Probation will now be filed with the Court and he could be sentenced to serve the original suspended sentence.

Sounds like, he was on probabtion and the charges he caught on the 24th violated his probation. The bond you paid was for the charges on the 24th, but he now has a court date for violating his probation. Bonds are not a lump sum to get someone out of jail. They are for the specific charges. His probation violation charge may not have a bond.

If he was bonded out on 12/1, and busted again on 12/24 AND he was already on probation.......then seems to me he is right where he should be: in jail.

If you break the law when on probation you have charges for breaking probation and must serve time in the slammer. What did he do? Why do so many people break the law these days and talk about it like it was normal? I would be embarrassed.

If you're on probation, you can do time for anything remotely illegal (like driving over the speed limit by 2 mph). Probation hold means exactly what you're experiencing: you can't get him out. I don't know what he's in for, but if he's going to be a worthless jailbird, you may want to ditch him. Of course, it's completely your choice.

Sounds like this guy is now a 'three time loser.'

I suspect that he was on probation and now is going away for a probation violation.

Sounds like you need to find a better-quality boyfriend.

Probation hold pretty much sums it up. You need to can the dirtbag and find a lawabiding guy to go with.

cause he got caught again.
If it was that easy to get out more people would be criminals. Maybe he should stay in jail.
