I have a acer aspire system, with lots of space. I defragment etc and clean the disks as well as the towers cd drive, yet it still runs SO slowly! It freezes too. I contacted the sims helpline but they just said clean it. I have changed the disk twice, and got a new graphics card, and changed the settings so the graphics dont slow it down but nothing works! How can i speed up the gameplay infinatly????

You need a faster Proccessor, OR More RAM
I would say you need around 512 mb of RAM ( for the recommended settings)

What`s your processor (CPU) speed?, if your running an old CPU you may need to up-grade it, if you have other programmes running at the same time your CPU will be over working, up-grading RAM may help but you`ll need the CPU to match. Hope this is of some help....
