My family goes to Virginia almost every year and we stay in Williamsburg.

Could anyone tell me some fun stuff to do in anywhere close to Williamsburg.

We've done the historic triangle and the theme parks.

Stuff in Richmond, Norfolk, the Beach, and anywhere else would be great.

Check out the VA tourism website:
http://www.virginia.org/ for tons of info.
Also, even though you've seen the historic stuff, there are a lot of special events this year because of the 400th anniversary of Jamestown.

Here is a link to some walking/hiking trails near the area.

You should also hop on 64 and head up to Charlottesville (about a 2 hour drive, if that long). Tour the beautiful University of Virginia, visit the artsy downtown mall, and enjoy the breathtaking mountain scenery (I feel like a tour guide). Charlottesville is one of the best cities to visit in the southeast, in my opinion.
