You're definitely not crazy. I think it would probably help you stay financially stable while you deal with all of the start-up costs. AND it's probably a good thing to surround yourself with people who live to a schedule like it sounds your mom does with the cleaning. Seeing others living to a schedule, even if it means limiting your freedom, could probably help you stay focused and motivated - even if it's only motivation to move out of the house!
However, if you think that you won't be able to move back home without having the same hang ups you had with your mom when you were a teen, you should probably not move back home. It wouldn't be fair to your mom (she's already raised you and doesn't need to go through it again) and you would drive yourself nuts and all that money you would be saving on rent would cost you in stress, which you'll have enough of if you start your own business.
Whatever you decide to do - good luck and don't give up!

you will have to simply weigh the pros and cons,,,,, and wow less rent is a big pro!,,, be an adult, discuss issues with your mom, if you decide to do this,,, a cleaning schedule,,,, what you will contribute for rent/groceries/utilities, make it a win/win situation for you both,,,,,, and stay focused on your plans,,,, the living room isnt so bad,,,,, yes on the one hand you will lose some independence, for minor things, if these things are not your main goal right now in life,,,, having a bedroom/running around nekkid,,, then you are not losing much,,,,,, it can work out great for you, just be respectful, and thankful,,,,, use common manners in interacting with your mom,, as one grown up to another,,,though yes she will still probably "mother" you,,,, my daughter is choosing to live at home while in college, after considering the finances of it all,,,,,, it is working great for us,
