I think that the Falcons got rid of the wrong guy. Mora was forced to play Vick even though he is not even the best QB on the team. Vick is the highest paid player in the league and is a 6 year veteran and still hasn't learned to read defenses. He is also no leader. Vick certainly killed this coach and will kill whomever succeeds Mora if the Falcon management fails to realize that as long as Vick is in Atlanta they will be 8-8, 7-9, or 6-10 every year. Vick needs to be traded or cut. The new coach must demand that he play the best players available to him not some overpaid has been who can no longer get the job done. Arthur Blank made a huge blunder when he signed Vick for 100 times more than he's worth.

The Problem isnt Vick he is trying to do his job and run a piss poor offense that has nothing more than a running game Jim Mora as a coach couldn't get any thing done Defensively nor passing the ball and o yeah special teams weren't there either so he got a running game in the three years he was there Vick needs people to throw to and needs time to throw Mora couldn't get the job done with the people he had so its time for ATL to make some big changes while Keeping the best Running QB in the league and by keeping one of the best backs in the league too

I agree, Vick is a coach killer. The Falcons will never be a top tier team with Vick as QB.

I agree with you and I totally believe that in today's league quaterbacks have to be able to pass well and be able to evade defenders and run the ball by themselves. Jeff Garcia is the only one that can do both and Vick can only run well he has problems throwing the ball. Whoever desides to take the reins as a coach has to work with Vick and teach him according to his style because if you get a quaterback coach that can only work as a pocket quaterback than it won't work for Vick. Personally, its the WR and QB coach that should get fired.

Well, the has very strong possition at Atlanta. Team proved to be nothing without him...[records show- doesnt mean I like him too much]. Team has no other choice than firing the coach...
If I were given management, I would aquire for some first round QB..[I would go for (1) Quinn or (2) Smith] Let him work as backup for a season or two and then get rid of expensive Vick...
I wish they had aquired Vince Young, that guy is proven.

Vick had a career year, he threw for a career high touchdowns, ran for 1,000 yards and he also lead played in every game for the first time in his career, Vick had a very good year despite a terrible play caller, a coach that wants to work in Washington, the Falcons don't need a knew quarterback they need a knew offensive coaching staff

Are y'all Vick haters insane. Vick is an amazing athlete - and if you can't get talent like that to be frequently successful, then you have a coaching problem - not an athlete problem.
