Well it is a form of music popularized first in the 1970's that is a light version of Rock-n-Roll suitable for under age listeners (bubblegum=tweens) this is current music diluted to make the lyrics approved for listeners under 16. BTW it is also a beverage created by Jones Soda Co. Hope this helped!
