Trillions of dollars of debt a shrinking middle class and 20% of our population in poverty with millions only one paycheck away from being on the street .
We have record foreclosures in the housing market amounting to 800 billion in loses to our economy . Jobs going to foreign providers that amount to the loss of almost 700,000 jobs a year and at some point the people will begin to feel the strain and begin to look for answers and people to blame .
Right now it is the Mexicans who provide a convenient scapegoat in the job market and the blacks are more and more considered criminals we must guard against in our society and in general the system is breaking down .
Car lots are full ,shelfs in the mall loaded with products and few Americans are able to afford the products on display at all times .
This have have not society is on the verge of collapse into civil unrest and possibly war .
So if nothing changes soon how long before the troops are patrolling our streets . 10 Years ???

It might look like that to you. Students tend to feel poor. Especially with their professors talking about how bad the economy is.

Just get a job.

Yes It is a sobering thought but my first thought when the towers were hit was not of terrorist but a radical militia group. The type of groups that Timothy Mc (whatever) was visiting. A lot of groups preach hate in this nation and the news is about something or someone else. You think about it the radical right is real quiet and has developed manners but the core belief begs for conflict on the horizon.

I think what you said about black people is a good point. They are being viewed as criminals (despite the fact most criminals are black) and the longer they are viewed like this the greater the chances of a limitation of their rights. As soon as they do something big, like rioting or another big crime, I think segregation could sadly be in the not to distant future.

I think america has no planb and will drive they're 4x4's collectively into the sea and straight over all the poor folks - before they examine any of the possibilities and benefits of redistribution and a socialist america.

yeah 10 if were lucky we don't need them screwing up our lives it's bad enough here the way it is I don't need someone like bush trying to shove evangelism down my thought and telling me I have a WMD in my backyard when I know I don't
