dont forget your leg warmers and an off the shoulder over sized tee (think Flashdance and Fame). Or maybe you are too young to remember those movies. Go rent them. Also you cant go wrong with very big hair. Other cool 80's movies that can give you great fashion tips from those years are, The Breakfast Club and Sixteen Candles, and Crushgrove!

Anything Neon. We loved neon in the 80s. Also hair needs to be BIG and the clothes were either kind of baggy or skin tight.

yahoo search some pics of salt n pepa, roxanne shauntae, an mc lyte. make sure your bangs are real high and what ever you wear make sure its bright bold normal colors (red green blue yellow)...neon colors were not big til 90's hip hop (tlc). and get some bamboo earrings aka doorknockers. bright red lipstick is a must no matter what you have on or what your skintone is....thas what they did back then.

People stereotype rap on what they see and hear through mainstream You couldn't stereotype 90's rap because every rapper was different Now rappers just auto tune their voice, wear skinny jeans and snap back hats, talk (not rap) about popping Molly's and spending money on Versace thongs and their love for white girls and say f*** emcees (the difference between rap and emcee is that rappers rap for money and emcees do it for the love so their saying doing it because you love hip hop is retarded) so when some one hears the trash on the radio they think that the rapper is greedy that he has to say " you idiots are the reason why I'm rich" they didn't do anything to deserve the fame And the ones that did sold out and discovered other garbage rappers So if you really want to know why people hate hip hop with out even listening to it, it's because those bums like Weezy F for failure, young cheesy, futurama, snitch homie quan, ASAP sloppy, Kanye the yeast infection, and drake the cake

Trust me, I grew up in the 80's. Big hair and bangs. Definitely. Lots of hair spray. The clothes, it's your call, there's definitely ALOT of things to choose from. Parachute pants, mini-skirt, off the shoulder sweater, and the list goes on.. OH and lots of ungodly make-up. I can't believe we actually did this, but we did.
