She UPLOADED them to the computer and then copied them to a disc. So they probably are still on the computer.
There are lots of ways you can find them.
1. If it's a Windows computer, click the start menu and "My recent documents". If you know the filenames of the photos, you can find them that way. When you mouseover the name of it on the recent documents list, it might tell you the location on your computer where the pics are hiding.
2. Or try this: If there are no pictures on the camera right now, take some shots of whatever. Then plug ithe camera in as though you are going to upload the new pictures to the computer. Pay close attention to where the camera wants to file the new pictures. In one of the steps, it will show where the pictures are about to be filed. There is a very good chance that's where your missing pictures are hiding, as well.
3. Or, just get the cd rom she made and upload them from it. It's digital, you can copy them all over the place with no loss of quality. Pay attention to the filename and folder location so you will know where to find them next time you're looking for them. As you upload, you should be able to name the file and folder yourself.

Put the CD into the drive, and it will either ask you to open it, or you will have to go into 'my computer' and choose the CD drive.
Either the pictures will show up on the CD, or they might be organized into folders, click on each folder to look for them.
If there are lots of folders, and you can't find the pictures, you can go to the start menu, and choose 'search' and pick the option for 'pictures music or video'--if you know the name of one of the files you are looking for it helps, otherwise it should show you all of the ones it finds.

moving data to a disc isn't complicated. you only desire the final utility. what variety of discs you desire relies upon on what variety of stress you have on your workstation. i'll think of it somewhat is a CD or DVD stress. if it is so which you will desire CD-R discs or in case you want to burn movies directly to DVD which you would be able to play on your place DVD participant there's a call between DVD-R and DVD+R. some machines can play the two yet however verify with your device and notice what's nicely matched. utility - advise DVD Styler this is supplied in the two domicile windows and Linux variations.
