I thought the story was the Michigan offensive line. It was weak and invisible, and the USC defense had their way with them. Chad Henne never had a second to set up and get things going, the ball got turned over, and the Michigan defense was on the field way too long as a result. USC stopped Mike Hart dead, too. I'm a die-hard Wolverines fan, but you have to give it up for the Trojans. They played a heck of a game and deserved the win. No one guy, even Ron English, was the difference. It was a great team effort by USC.

No, their offensive line was the reason they lost. No push on running plays (Hart was getting first contact pretty much at the line of scrimmage) and they couldn't keep the USC front seven off of Henne. It was almost as if the USC defensive front was in the Michigan huddle all day.
God, it was beautiful.

I felt that Michigan lost because they didn't have the desire to win. Carr made it clear that he thought they should go to the desert for the National Championship. I think his attitude trickled down to his players. Their loss in the Rose Bowl just proved that they didn't deserve to go to the BCS Championship. They aren't the second best team.

did you see the rest of the game??? did you see how USC held M. Hart to 47 yards, no TD?? did you see the 5 sacks in the 1st half???? did you see M. Manningham held to 79 yards receiving, no TD??? MI put pressure on Booty, but the coaches had him rolling out to avoid it and make passes on the run...it wasnt just one side of the ball. MI got out coached and dominated on both sides!!!
