My mother saw my dad about a week after he died, she was walking down the hall and he just passed right by her. She didn't realize it was him until afterwards, she said it was just like every other time they passed each other. I used to see them where I used to live. The property had a bad history where the owner of the land would kill his slaves babies to keep them docile and not run away. It was horrible. Every now and then you could hear a baby crying or a woman screaming, especially late at night.

My wife and I have both seen mmmmm something in our older house in Germany. We'll be watching tv and then see something move out the corner of our eye, but then when you really lok it is gone. My wife once vacuumed the whole bedroom and when she was done and pu the vacuum away, she walked back into the room and there was a bottle of water sitting right on the middle of the floor where she had just been vacuuming minutes before. Then when she went to pick it up, her hair dryer turned on. She called me at work and was all freked out. We have seen some odd sh!! in this house but we're convinced that IF it is a ghost it's not here to harm us.

I never saw them but I did hear a group of ghosts. I was stationed in at Calgary and got permission to live off base. I took a apartment in a building that had been on base before they put in the freeway. It was three storied affair where two floors had been converted into apts. Two per floor seperated by a staircase. Often I would hear partying and people moving up and down the stair but keeping myself to myself I ignored it. The neighbours were a young couple with a infant and I did think it odd that they threw what at times were loud parties. But I was kept busy on base and off and ignored it. When I recieved leave I asked my next door neighbours to collect my morning paper. They agreed but asked if I could keep it down, they said that my party on Saturday had kept their son awake all night. I had spent that Saturday freezing in Wainwright for reasons I won't get into and had never thrown a party in my quarters at anytime. They looked disbelieving at my reply but when I returned they were furious has "my friends" had had several loud parties in my absence. Finally when the next party occured I went over to them and had them stand in my living room to show that it was not my party. The parties continued and the women was always leery of me but I am told that they continued after my departure. The building had been a BOQ before the Great War and I kind of hope the lads still get together for drink or so like they did before the horror started..

I have encountered numerous spirits in my time. It is sometimes not so much as seeing a ghost as it is sensing a spirit around me. But when I was a lil girl, my best friends grandmother had died recently and she had just come back from California (we live in AZ) after the funeral and they brought some of the deceased belongings back with them. One being a rocking chair. Well, as I laid in the room trying to go to sleep I heard like a knock or something. Just a noise I guess but when I opened my eyes, I seen like a strange figure with a bluish aura around it. I was frozen stiff and did not know what in the world to think. I was so scared and started screaming. Then my best friends mom came running to me and explained alot about spirits and auras to me.

...we were staying at a colonial home on my husband's family farm. My daughter was about 4 yrs. & I was helping her dress for the day. She pointed her finger to another corner of the room and waved. I laughed and said, "Who are you waving at?" She said, "That man right there." "What man?" I asked. "The man with the farmer hat. He always says hi to me." There was absolutely nothing in that corner; that I could see. Very cool...she was not pretending or making it up. Many other "sightings" in that home. She was not aware of any of it....
