Seen as none of these 'sports' require any real talent, stamina, strength or energy - why not combine them?

yes i can , although the chess is quite difficult as ones opponent has to ride along side you on his horse , it also requires a third horse in the middle with the board strapped to it .

Pfft. I could do all that with one hand tied behind my back...and while curling and pie-eating, too.

J/k I think you're wrong about horseback riding and racing, actually. Horseback riding is strenuous and requires training and strength. Racers need all that, plus the ability to strategize during a race. Chess and Darts are just games. Fun games of skill, but still just games.

I may just accidently on purpose hit a rabbit in the @ss with the dart...You cheeky man I have you know that Riding well requires a lot of talent a lot of tight thigh a good grip with the hands and a gentle tug now and again oooohhh and it makes you breathless if done to perfection....

You may want to try darts before you declare it a "no talent required" sport.

if the horse is playing chess i doubt he would appreciate you sitting on his back throwing darts while he considers his next move.
