It isnt true, its total myth.
It is true that there is residual oxygen in the brain which may sustain you for a very short while, but the sheer rate of haemorrhage from losing the body would instantaneously drop the cerebral perfusion pressure so much that consciousness would be lost immediately.

I saw execution in Saudi Arabia and I saw some one head was flying after it was chopped. Thy guy body was shaking specially the hands and legs. The eyes were widely opened and the mouth totally closed. No one can till if he can see what’s going on. No way to find out because no one returned back to the life after his head was chopped off to till us what is happening.

I remember reading somewhere that during the French Revolution the heads that had been chopped off at the guillotine appeared to be still "alive" after they'd been severed. I think the lips were moving or the eyes, or something. Creepy!

Absolutely it is possble. Some solders keep fighting even when their head chopped off for a very brief time I'm told.

You've got problems if you are worried about how your body looks after you have had your head chopped.

Yes, but only for about 5 to 10 seconds. Weird thought though. Would be funny if you could still control it

Yep!
Old form of torture when beheading was common place....off with the head, into a basket and then quickly pick up the head and the decapitated body could be seen......lovely :(

apparently so....although I know a few people who have their head still attached and there is no sign of consciousness. I also read somewhere (dunno if it's true) that there's still some activity going on in your brain up to a month after you've died (just the odd spark here and there.....I think I want to be cremated!!)

Strangely, because it is a strange question, I have wondered this. Death cannot be instant, and consciousness would remain for a very short time.
I think I would be busy panicking.

It is tough to get a complete study of people who have been beheaded. They have very short attention spans.
