I am 35 weeks pregnant and today I am having a lot of pain in my pelvic area. I can barely walk. It even hurts when I am sitting. Why? What should I do? I has hurt before when walking, but that was when the baby turned head down. I had contractions all last week and lost my mucus plug. Why the pain now?

The baby has probably dropped....which means it is getting in position to be born. There is a lot of pressure put on your pelvis during that time. It is normal. If you are worried call your doctor they will determine what kind of pain you are feeling.

At 35 weeks it's still too early to tell. You should wait a few weeks and get tested again to make sure you're really pregnant.

Your just having contractions. It's normal. You'll know your ready when your water breaks. Until than take some Tylenol. Try to take it easy the best you can.

My guess is that you are experiencing labor and should either get to the hospital or call your OBGYN. DO NOT waist time. You may find yourself delivering at home.
