Its all psycological we lose cause we dont beleive we are going to win and to take penalties successfully you have to have complete confidence in yourself.Also because our keepers are rubbish.

I'm Italian. Italy lose Euro 1980 semifinal on penalties vs Czech Republic 8-7; World Cup 1990 Semifinal vs Argentina 5-4; World Cup 1994 Final vs Brazil 3-2; World Cup 1/4 Final vs France 4-3.
In Euro 2000 we won Semifinal vs the Netherland 3-1 and last year we won THE WORLD CUP FINAL IN BERLIN 6:4 VS FRANCE,
CAMPIONI DEL MONDO! Don't worry, Italian fans cried a lot cos we always lose on penalties.
I'm sure that England will play a very good championship in Austria. In Italy we know what loose on penalties mean.

Cuz the dudes are paid to fail in penalties. The English players are great, but there might fit a possibily that they never practice penalty kicks as well.

England never practice penalties.
England penaltiy takers are the ones who never score for england.
You wanna see England strikers / midfielders taking the penalties...not the defenders.

we now have a reputation for going out on penalties so now the playrs are starting to give in to easily to pressure. it cud also b the lack of penalty practice we o compared to the rest of the world!

i think its just luck you know..look at italy, by statistics they were the worst penalty takers..and then they won the world cup on penalties!!
