Click Start > Control Panel > Security Center > Windows Firewall > Tick the radio button to turn Windows Firewall off > Click OK

Click Start>control panel>Security Center>
There you will see windows firewall settings and you can turn it off from there.

The above are all correct.

However, before you do that make sure that you have up to date antivirus and antispyware software running on your machine or you WILL be infected with multiple viruses and spyware programs and bots within a very few minutes if you don't have some other firewall protecting your machine or network.

Go to My Computer, then find control panel.
Click on 'Security Settings', and then on 'Windows Firewall'.
Then click where it says Off. :)
