I think celebrities change their phone numbers fairly often and they aren't published numbers either.
I also think their calls go through an answering service, affliated with their public relations firm, who then transfer the calls to them, if it's someone they will talk with. So if you can find which answering service a celebrity uses then you can try getting in contact with them that way. Maybe leave a message or something like that.

You can't find a celebrity's phone number, plus if it so how happened you did, their line would be busy 24/7 and I'd bet you they wouldn't have time to answer it. But you can mail to their address by purchasing the M magazine and look on the last page of it.

Look up "Paris Sidekick" Do you remember when all those cell numbers got loose? Probably you'll find a site that lets you see them.
