No matter what I drink, my urine is still a clear yellow color. Why is this, and where does all of that "extra color" go?

The yellow color is due to nitrogenous waste that is expelled as a general rule in urine. Drinking more water should help, but your diet may also be so high in nitrogen (meat usually) that your liver is overtaxed to purify it, or you may suffer from some type of genetic metabolism malady wherein your body cannot properly metabolize nitrogen to waste.

The more impurities in your urine the darker the color of yellow. After a good night of drinking mine can be really dark. Drink more water daily to keep your system 'flushed' and your urine will lighten up some.

It's normally a yellow color, but it shouldn't be dark. The lighter the better. Keep drinking more water and things like that to keep it from being dark yellow. I think 90% of the population has a yellow tint to their urine so I'd say it's normal. :o)

Lighter color urine is a good sign, it means you are getting plenty of fluids. When you start to get dehydrated your urine will get more concentrated (yellow).

In principle there's nothing wrong with saying that something is 'too yellow'. Using 'too' like this always indicates a problem: the yellow is too strong for your skin colour, or it makes you look like a clown, or something like that. We would say, "I don't like wearing anything that's too yellow". But it's possible that you only mean "very" yellow. That's different from "too" yellow. A: "This shirt is very yellow!" B: "Yes, it is, but with your dark hair, I don't think it's TOO yellow."
