is there any way to use an ipod on a mac and pc?

I have a mac at home but my work machine is a pc - is there anyway you can sync on itunes on both or does it have to be the same operating system if you use more than one computer? thx!

To use the iPod on a PC, you need to Windows format the iPod. To do this, just plug it in to the PC, say "Yes" when it asks you if you want to format it, and follow the instructions. The iPod will now work on both Macs and PCs, but you cannot upgrade the iPod Updater on the Mac.
