People can be aggressive on alcohol.
If you are getting the shakes without alcohol then your body might be dependent on it.
If you want to stop, try not to do it all of a sudden as this risks fits and paranoid reactions.
Some GP's will give you sedatives to control this risk as you come off, others will refer you to a detox service.
There is a drug called Acamprosate that reduces cravings. People take it almost as soon as they become abstinent.
There is another drug called disulfiram which makes you throw up if you drink alcohol when on it. I don't like the punishment approach personally.
Good luck.

Hmm, think you might have a problem there hun. Stop drinking til you pass out, your troubles haven't gone, they are still there waiting for you when you are sober. This kind of drinking will probably just add to your toubles, and no doubt put you in all kinds of serious danger!
Maybe it is the stuff you are drinking, Vodka gets my fella really aggressive, so he has to steer well clear of it.
My advice would be to go see a doctor and tell them what is happening. You might need counselling from what you have said on your additional notes. It sounds like you are an alcoholic.

If you drink until you pass out, you are an alcoholic.
Alcoholics develop dementia in the end stages of their disease. It would look like schizophrenia to the untrained.
Right now you are in what is called "denial". You don't want to admit you are an alcoholic.
I strongly urge you to attend an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting or AA. Everyone there is in the same boat as you are. No one will ask you your full name. You can even make one up if you like to do so. They are just every day people who are helping each other one day at a time. No one will judge you.
But you have to make that first step and go. I truly hope that you do.
Good luck.

There is such a thing as alcohol-induced psychotic disorder, which is marked by hallucinations and/or delusions. But that doesn't sound like what you are describing. Your description sounds more like alcohol dependence (alcoholism). I agree with the others who have suggested that you need to get some help.

Ok go to your doctor, drink can make you like that it can make you paranoid and all sorts, try set your self tasks, when you buy drink, only buy enough what you can handle and make shore you can't get hold of any more, but do this whilst you are sober, in that way it might help you cut down! but do go speak to someone about it! good luck hun and all the best for the new year! xx

If you are getting the shakes and throwing up, then you are having alcohol withdrawal symptoms. You need to get into some type of alcohol treatment program. Contact your doctor. Life's too short. Take care of yourself and be healthy.

You don't know what a schizo is, obviously.
The answer to your question is no.
Alcohol is a depressant and helps repress the schizoid symtoms. That's why they drink so they don't hear the voices as much.
P.S. You probably have some other issue that you repress when you are sober and it comes out when you are drunk. Many people do this. I have done it. But when you make a habit out of it (everytime you get drunk) you need to get professional help.
