PURGE IT!!!
Add at least 5 gallons of gas to your car. Loosen the main fuel line at the injector pump. Have someone try to start the car. When you see the line have a steady flow of fuel, tighten the line back to it's original place.
If that doesn't work, check the fuel pump. The problem may be there. The easiest way to tell is when you first turn the key, you should hear a hummmm comming from the fuel tank. It you don't hear it, there's a problem with your fuel pump.

Sounds stupid and simple but put another can of fuel in it. You want about 2 gallons lining the bottom of the tank. The fuel pump may not be noticing the pressure coming in so isn't activating at all. This sounds ridiculous but I just had exactly the same problem with my Volvo S80. It stood for a few months and when I went to start it with one can of fuel added it nearly drove me to pushing it over a cliff!!! Before doing so though I put another can in it hoping it would make some difference, turned the key and it started immediately.

If it has an electric fuel pump.. especially those in the fuel tank... it more than likely burned up from no or low fuel.
A mechanic told me that any vehicle with an electric fuel pump in the tank.. relies on the coolness of the fuel to stay cool.. if the fuel tank goes low enough or empty.. the fuel pump overheats.. and will ruin.
Does this help any?

Spray some Bradex Easy Start into the air intake and turn the key, this should keep it going long enough to prime your fuel pump and get it started. Of course if you ran your tank dry you may have clogged your injectors up with crap from the bottom of your tank so you will have to take it to the garage to get them cleared and a new fuel filter fitted

Youi need to bleed the air from the system open the hood and look for the fuel rail going to the injectors there is a small cap on a vaulve that look like the one yuo fill your tires with. push in the shrader vaulve and have some one turn on the key when gas comes out realse it and try to start if no gas pump not working

Pour a couple tablespoons full of gas into the intake a few times. The motor will fire and get the fuel pump primed. You might need a new fuel pump.

Are you sure that the car ran out of fuel and that the fuel pump just didn't fail when the level got too low?

Every cell has DNA and it is consisted of two strands tightly woven around each other. The thing that prevents the two strands from breaking apart is called a telomeric cap (which is random nucleotide sequences called nonsense codons. Codon is a 3 sequence of nucleotides that codes for amino acids eg. CUU is a amino acid called proline . A nonsense codon is one that doesnt code for any amino acid production) Every time your cells divide a small sequence is lost there by reducing the stability of the cell's DNA (in layman's terms). This will eventually lead do most of Ur cells' DNA becoming unstable. And usually when a mistake occurs in DNA the cell will perform auto cytolysis (cell suicide) to prevent problems. So when you are old most of ur cells telomeric caps will be low and they are prone to die when they try to divide.. Whats really interesting about this theory is the impact it has on evolution (because this happens on both meiotic as well as mitotic divisions. which means that a species grows old too before it mutates.. but thats a different story)

The fuel pump needs to be primed. Read on the internet how to do this for your car.
