As a Texan let me just go on record - not all Texans talk the way that dummy does. Actually, the number is very small. Bush sounds like a moron because he is a moron. His family will probably have to pay people to speak at his funeral.

It must just be your perceptions. You have already decided that you think he's a moron, and you just seek justification for that. It colors how you see him.
Perhaps it would seem different if you were able to lay aside your biases.

I love the President and respect him greatly. The problem with his public speaking in any arena is that he doesn't speak English, he speaks Texan. And if you are not familiar with it, or are an intellectual snob, then you have a tendency to connect the southern drawl with a lower intelligence level.

I think he could care less. after all he didn't go to Washington when they was having the opening viewing ceremonies. to me that's an insult to a former president. but I guess when he dies no one will show up. not even his wife and kids.
