Hi starflower, I would use your imagination. Try talking to someone who knows lots about them and try to find lots of different kinds of carts to look at, but if you or someone you know has lots of building skills you should be able to build a decent one. This site sells books on building carts, but I think they are for horses: http://www.wildhorsebooks.com/Model%20Vehicle%20Books.htm I would also try a search at your library, you'll have better luck finding plans in a book than you will online. Hope you find some... I love mini donkeys and I've always wanted to try a cart with our goats!

A cart for a minature donkey is just like a cart for minature horse. You might comb the internet to see what is out there. Once you find a cart you like, you might download a picture of it and take it to a welder. The welder then may have an idea.
