all it is i was wondering why some younger women (17+) like older guys......

I used to like older guys (i have a bf now--around my age) becuase my dad used to call me a whore all the time..and he would treat me bad. I wanted someone older who would love me...i guess in a way unconsciously I wanted a good father role...then again older men are more experienced and more mature. and they are defo sexy.

Depends on the younger woman who is 17+.
1) Did they not grow up with their father and are they looking for a father figure?
2) Do they have only older brothers and no younger brother and view older men this way?
3) Is it that they're just very mature for their age?
**My question would be how much older are these guys?
If it's up to five years older, then it's relatively harmless, but if the guy is in his mid 30's and older, then that is a red flag, especially if the young woman acts on it.

Older guys offer experience, maturity, make more money than most younger guys, and maybe on some level fulfill some sort of 'father figure' issue that the younger women might have.

Boys don't mature until around 25, some take even longer. Girls like older guys when they are around the age 16 due to their own maturity levels. We enjoy guys who aren't all about our bodies all the time. We need mind stimulation. This is why younger woman like older guys. Thank you and GOD bless.

It's not that hard to understand why girls in this age range would be attracted to guys who are both more emotionally mature, and more financially capable.
To a certain extent this trend continues throughout life. The correlation with age just weakens as we get older...it seems dramatic at 17.

Boys, men ect. mature late and by the time a boy turns into a man say in his mid 30's then he began to learn how to treat a women so that is why young girls go for older guys to be treated like a princess and to be pampered. they like the experience that comes with it also.

Mature males mostly. A lot of these young girls believe that they are so much more mature then their peers (and a lot are correct). But some go after older guys as they believe it is like a medal or badge of honour and they are viewed as older so they think.

They are attracted to older men for various reasons. Some like the experience that older men have and some like the fact that they are supposably more mature(which is not always true) and it makes some girls feel like others are envious of them.

better sex
they're not playing games like the younger do
older guys....know what they want
they have more experience....
i think that women ...like older guys because they feel like they could protect us....
they want serious relationship
