To have no wish is a negative. It is a negation of life. We were made for life, and therefore for wishes. Idle wishes about which you do nothing are worthless, but to wish for something really good and wonderful and useful in the world, and then to apply yourself to make that wish come to fruition is a great thing.
There are childish wishes, like wishing on a star, which the child doesn't really believe, but they are fun and harmless to a point.
There are fantasy wishes, like winning a hundred million dollars on a reality show or with the lottery, and these kind of wishes produce attitudes which are harmful -- an expectation of something for nothing or for nothing which is very worthwhile.
The best wishes are the ones you make come true for yourself and for others. Like Ty's team on Extreme Makeover. The recipients gain a great deal, but the real makers of the wishes and fulfillers of them are Ty and his team. And they gain the most.
So wish away, darling, and then go out and make it happen.

NO WISH is the state of NIRVANA. You have to have wished a lot of things before you get to that.
But if this is what you really wish - then it is the best wish for you ...

You wish to be a Buddhist! You wish to have no desires! You wish to be freed from the cycle of death and rebirth. You wish to attain the state of Nirvana, literally to go out like a light. If you can overcome the temptations of life and wish nothing for yourself you can have it. Question is do you want it?

I have wished many times, when I have an eyelash that just falls out, even on the first star I see at night; my one wish is too find true love. To find that one person that will look at you like you are an angel, you can bring them out of the depths of hel*, you can save them. That is my wish. And, they do the same for you.
