If the US ants to remove Iran as a nuclear threat should we remove Israels nukes first?

Iran wants nukes to prevent aggression from Israel who hates all its neighbors. If Iran has nukes it can prevent israel from using them. Right now Israel and the US are the only powerhouses in the mideast and they hate all the muslim and arab nations

Iran is a terrorist state that has proclaimed that it wishes to destroy Israel. Nuclear weapons would give them the opportunity to do so, heaven forfend.

If Israel does indeed have a nuclear capability, it will use it only as a last resort, after a first strike by some other power.

Iran is the biggest threat to the West today, and their military capability must be curbed by the West.

In addition, individual terrorists must be eliminated--if necessary by engaging them and killing them.

There can be no rational argument against this two-pronged approach.

1. Has Israel ever, like Iran, called for "Death to.." another country, as Iran has, or declared they will eliminate another country from the face of the Earth? No, but Iran has.

2. It is not just the US, but also the EU, the UN, and many, many other countries that are against Iran having nuclear weapons.

3. Israel has never been an aggressor in its 60 years of existence - it has always reacted to the aggression of its neighbors.

So, based on the truth I have listed, there is no reason to treat an upstanding, peace-seeking democratic country like Israel in the same manner the world should treat the rogue tyranny of Iran.

Israel has had nukes since around 1975 (although they neither admit nor deny it). Before that year, the Arab fascist dictators started four wars against Israel. Since then, none. Coincidence? I don't think so. Besides, if Israel was going to use a nuke, don't you think they would have by now?

Put aside your hate and seek some facts. It's not your "criticism" of Israel that makes you anti-Semitic. It's your lies about Israel that make you anti-Semitic.

Steph, please provide some evidence that Israel's stated goal is "domination of the Middle East." If that were so, there'd be no "Palestinian" problem, no Hezbollah, no Hamas, and they certainly wouldn't have unilaterally redeployed Gaza.

2. How do you come to the conclusion that Israel hates their neighbours isn't it the other way around?

Isreal has nuclear weapons so that the US can maintain an offensive posture in the region. The US won't allow Iran to get nuclear weapon capabilities. The United States is the most powerful military presence that the Earth has ever known. There is no number two. This is a hard fact of life. Knowing it provides me with an enormous peace of mind and a glowing spirit which comes with the pride of Nationalism.

I agree with you said.Every country surrounding Iran has nukes...Israel,although they don't admit it,has nukes.US has nukes.Both of these countries are threatening Iran with military actions unless Iran renounces at something it has every right to(nuclear energy)...We saw very clearly what happens with states that have no capability of defending themselves and who don't have any nuclear weapons,as Afghanistan ,Iraq or Lebanon...By attacking those countries US and Israel send a very clear message,but not the message they would want to.It's very clear:"you have nukes,we will not attack you because we are pretty scared,you don't ...well what happened in Iraq could happen to you"...Bush chose to attack Iraq,where there were clear proofs that there were any WMD,instead of attacking North Korea who was very proud spreading the news that they have nukes and that they could use it anytime...

Israel doesnt even admit to having nukes even though we all know they do.

Why would we remove nukes from Israel though when we let other countries that support terrorism like Pakistan have them?
Furthermore the American media is so biased in favor of Israel that the majority of Americans dont even realize that Israels stated goal is domination of the entire Middle East.
