My grandson is an amazing young man. Highly intelligent as far as grades, but common sense beyond his years. I grew up believing every person told the truth and people didn't lie. And most people back then did. My father's word was his bond. If he said something, you could take it to the bank. A man of his word.
My grandson can't be snowed by TV and prefers filming his friends and skateboard buddies. He actually loves history and asks questions like - why change B.C. to B.C.E.? For thousands of years B.C. and A.D. were fine and now we have a common era. His history teacher couldn't give a good answer to why. So he researches for himself and decides adults are confused people. I scold him for talking about his elders, but agree that he is right.
I think God is pouring out His spirit on this generation. This generation will question everything that they are being taught by adults. They don't trust their elders. This generation will stand on the promises of God and the gates of hell will not prevail against them.

The first comment on this page is wrong! Not ALL teenagers are stupid and rude. I am 16, and I do extremely well in school (honour role, Ontario scholar)! Colleges want me to go to their school, I am very kind, I said no to drugs, and yes to an education! Being a teenager is very difficult, but people these days seem to think that if you're a teen that you're stupid, rude, etc. Well, it's not true! Not all teens are like that.

I hope you don't believe that. The teenagers I have seen today are so arrogant and ignorant they won't be able to suceed anyone. Their parents haven't been able to instill values and morals in them due to they both have to work just to make the bills. There are so many more "chemically made drugs" today for the teenagers, most of them will be dead by the time their 25 and won't have to worry about it anyway. Thank you.

Well i hope not all people lable all teenagers as bad news because... i am 13 and i do try hard at school and i dont do drugs or smoke or drink. So i don't think all teenagers are all bad news, just some of them.
