what is the reason for pelvic ultrasound when pap was ok?

i went to the the doctor for a pap test because i was bleeding and i already went through menopause so they are sending me for a pelvic examine. what is the reason

To see where the bleeding is coming from. You really should have asked the Dr some questions. You may have fibroids or something.
