Love is a profound feeling of tender affection for or intense attraction to another. People in love are often considered to have "good" interpersonal chemistry. Love is described as a deep, ineffable feeling shared in passionate or intimate interpersonal relationships. In different contexts, however, the word love has a variety of related but distinct meanings: in addition to romantic love, which is characterized by a mix of emotional and sexual desire, other forms include platonic love, religious love, familial love, and the more casual application of the term to anyone or anything that one considers strongly pleasurable, enjoyable, or desirable, including activities and foods. This diverse range of meanings in a single word is commonly contrasted with the plurality of Greek words for Love, reflecting the word's versatility and complexity.-

love is an ideal state of being that can be painful or bring one a sense of Ecstasy. It is a feeling that inspires us humans to cross the globe if necessary to be with someone that is the focus of our attention. A person will do or say anything to maintain that sense of euphoria called love. Unfortunately, love is so often confused with lust or physical attraction. That confusion cheapens the word. Love is a much deeper emotion. Unfortunately, it is so often unbalanced when one person Love's and the other just thinks they do. However, when two people are in Love with one another. It's ectasy supreme. It's like a drug you can't get enough of it.

Having someone else's best interests at heart. Love is not fireworks and fast beating heart... that's attraction and lust, which are ok in their place. But love is more. Better. It makes you a better person, if you do it right. You become someone who wants for the other person what they want for themselves. Their dreams, their fears, their needs, their future... all that becomes as important to you as your own... and if two people are doing that for one another, then both can relax and be happy, because your needs are being met! Love doesn't satisfy you. Love satisfies the other person, whoever that is, and in whatever capacity you love them.

We have unity with God in unconditional love within our heart. Until we awake to this level of spiritual union we see all things as having duality. As the colors of the rainbow are contained within sunshine, so to we are contained within the light of Gods unconditional love. Unconditional love divided by duality becomes conditional love, fear, anger, hate, possiveness and all the ranges of Emotion. Unconditional love can not be fully understood by the mind, one should experience unconditional love within the heart. It is a total giving, expecting nothing in return. It shines equally on all.

Love is when you are never going to get hurt. Love will shield you from any hurts. It has to be an honest love or pain, and hurts will find a way to tear at you. A true honest love will not let anything hurt you. Not even death.

When I can look in his eyes and know exactly what he feels without him saying a word. When he is mad and I can hug his waist and his heart melts as he calms. When he still says i look beautiful even when i just woke up. And when he says he loves me, i feel it's true way down in the pit of my soul. That's love.

love. feeling a certain way towards someone, caring for them, having and given the right to love them in a way no one else can. having and given from the other person trust and the key to their heart. love it being so strong and all. might be becuz when you love some one you give them your heart. your heart is not wholly yours anymore. your key is given to another. so they can unlock it and all the feelings you never felt as well.

love is to know that without a doubt you would suffer what you had to in order to be with that person, love isn't safe more times then not it isn't even fun but i'd take that uncertainty over the certainty that i know lies with the other options. just my opinion though

Love is knowing Jesus, as my savior. There is no greater love, than the love of God. After all, He loved us so much, He sent His son to die for us, so we could be saved.
