Sounds like an idealistic point of view. Like unrealistic expectations.

And I agree with the other's, it's not very well written.

The idea that you wish to convey is that if the world were peaceful to live in then you would derive more happiness.
If you have written this, and you yourself do not know what it means ,then there is a problem ... How can I or others know therefore...? The whole is slovenly written and to have good poetry you should improve greatly on this particular one . It should convey clearly your emotions and express the right feelings at all times. E mail me if you so wish...

<---poet.
I've written, edited poems for years.
This poem seems to be talking about peace on earth, but at the end, it is not peaceful. It's sardonic.

Also, it is poorly written. Elementary, at best.

sounds like someone is casting out a beautiful future for you and them and entreating you to puzzle with it....

i prefer to stay clear away from the use of cliche in poetry and this one is heavy in cliche'

but what did it mean to you Ashley?

It says to me, The world is what it is & all we can do is be our selves & try to live a happy prosperous life.
