Do you believe that the it is a violation of our civil rights when the government only allows protests in free speech zones? (This is not aimed at any particular protest. I just read about free speech zones in a local newspaper.)

I'm not talking about protests with physical abuse or trespassing on private property, I mean a civilized protest on public property that is paid for by the citizens.

What country you live in?

Never heard of this concept. Obviously there are places where protest might be inappropriate or where security considerations might take precedence. (For example, I have no problem with anti-globalization protestors but have problems with ones forcing themselves within a government buiding where they pose a physical threat. Freedom of speech is not freedom to assault.)
