How would you rate these peoples "beauty"? Class experiment.?

Hello, this is an experiment we are doing for class to judge peoples perceptions of beauty. Your participation would be greatly appreciated.

Rate these people on a scale of 1-10 and please add comments if you could.

This is my honest rating in comparison to beauty I have seen in the national media. Also I am a guy so the guys in the pics didn't even get a whole point.......


Contestant # 1 = .75

Contestant # 2 = 5, she's almost hot, I will need to see a full body shot for a more accurate rating.

Contestant # 3 = .5

Contestant # 4 = 1

Contestant # 5 = .25

I am not for judging people on their looks at all because it's the personality that counts but because the experiment's on 'beauty' here goes:

1. 7/10 - the hair's a bit short for me and the expression's a bit random but otherwise pretty good.
2. 8.5/10 - the smile's a bit weird but I like the countrygirl look and the more original hairstyle.
3. 6/10 - good looking underneath but the hair and clothes are old fashioned.
4. 6/10 - she's quite attractive but not very original.
5. 4/10 - sorry doesn't really grab me at all - don't know why. But he's got that cute look about him.

There you go but I hope I didn't upset anyone!

#1- 5; He has a nice face, but looks too young and needs longer hair to cover up and fit his delicate bone structure.

#2- 7; She has nice eyes and looks great in dark eyeliner. Her hair is too messy and unstyled, though; nothing about it flatters her.

#3- 7 or 8; He has a great face and great hair. Would look better in a different shirt though.

#4- 9; She looks like a model and has a very great overall look. The hair color is beautiful.

#5- 3 or 4; He looks like someone that isn't overly concerned with hair grooming. The hair and eyebrows are way too messy, and I don't think the facial hair flatters him.

Remember that my opinions on these people don't mean much overall since my own standards of whats attractive might be the total opposite of other people's standards.

#1= 10 young & innocent handsome young man
#2= 9.5 beautiful smile & eyes,eyes look like they speaks millions, eyebrows over done to short
#3= 9 nice smile handsome but would be a 10 with hair shaped up
#4= 7 to much eye make up needs hair shaped up.
#5=8.5 would be a 10 if hair was shaped up & lost or trimed up chim hair. AWESOME eyes

First: 6 - looks too young, needs new hairstyle
Second: 7.5 - cute, could grow longer eyebrows
Third: 6.6 - needs to fix the front of his hair, or shorter cut
Fourth: 5 - too much makeup, doesn't do anything for me
Fifth: 4 - not much good there, nothing hideous though, could pluck the brows a bit though

For some reason I do not believe its a class experiment; I think its you and your friends messing around! I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings by comparing you all. You're all cute. That first guy, I really like his eyes, he's gonna be hot when he gets a little older. You're all cute in your own way though!

i'm with ya, I used to stay in Southern Cal, and that i will inform you're honest. I surely have loads of acquaintances there, i do no longer understand people who could desire absolutely everyone misfortune there- i'm going to think of "wet days and Monday's".

all the girls look like they are trying too hard... especially tarantula eyes in image 4. All the guys look.. normal. Sounds like a bunch of teenagers are going to have bruised egos from this, and I cant see a school allowing a project like this because of self esteem issues.. seems kinda irresponcible.

#1 bad boy trying to look like good boy to family and friends (only he knows what he's all about ) not a good feeling when looking into his eyes.
#2 welcoming eyes, but too into herself. too high maintainance (please do something about those brows)
#3 big brother type. political party(ier). wants to please everyone at all times, but can't figure out how.
#4 drama queen.
#5 i want to take him home with me. what a cutie-pie. i just want to hold him and squeeze him. he looks like the type who would give you the shirt off his back and hug you, too, to keep you warm. he also kind of looks like a stoner, but i don't mind.
he gets a 10. 6 or 7 for all others. i don't like something about each of them - not their looks , but deeper - their souls.
