Maybe some of the Ford family members being from Michigan realize & acknowledge the level of poverty in America 2007 being orchestraighted yet ignored by the ruling class & todays puppet politicians!

Being from the Detroit area - I am going to have to to say no to "poverty stricken", although Michigan in general has the highest unemployment rate in the country.

It is, because all the poor folks moved oout of New Orleans.
The Ford family, at least Henry Ford, helped make automobiles available to people other than the wealthy and have contributed great paying jobs for many years to Detroit, Michigan and the world.
