Had a couple of Jagerbombs at my parents house. Hubby lost money in a poker game. Stayed up and chatted till 3 am...couldnt sleep because the kids were playing Guitar Hero until 5.
Had a wonderful breakfast cooked by my dad, went home and watched movies all day.

Spent New Year's Eve quietly at home. We got the news that a family grandmother had died that evening so from there on it was finding places for the smaller children to stay, packing, and planning. New Year's Day the family gathered for a traditional dinner and from there, two vans were loaded and the trip to Meridian, Mississippi began. I brought one child home with me for the few days everyone will be gone.

Had a lovely visit from my mom and step-dad around 6pm. lasting til 9pm-ish, taxied to my friends Spa where she held a small get-together, after shop-hours of course. Drank too much, chatted and danced til well passed 3am. . . taxied home, tried for sleep'round 6am. . . but just discovered that my neighbor upstairs is a thriving tap-dancer. . . I always thought she had a dogie with a toy bouncing on the floor at certain times of the day. But no, those were tappers. . .
After my Chinese-tortured sleep, rose about 1pm. . . made calls, surfed the net, went for a nice out-door run. and by 6pm. I was at my Mom's for New Years day dinner to be joined by step-dad, sister, neighbor couple, and my dogie. . . The best Turkey all year, ha ha, but true! Everyone was so equally hung-over that it was another, different-kind of, good-time to be had by all. . .

Big party at home of parent's friend, the "young people" we partied in the basement, went with BF and met a cousin I've always had a crush on there too, all got kinda drunk (parents were pist!!) or high (parents didn't know) everyone made out A LOT and stuff -- next day just laid around and recovered.
