Lamborghinis are "Mid-Engine" cars meaning the engine sits just infront of the rear wheels. This is common in high performance vehicles as the bulk of the weight is closer to the center of the car helping out the weigh distrubution. It also helps in handling as one end of the car isnt trying to swing around the weight of the engine.
