I have a '95 Cadillac Seville. Whenever I turn on the car like 15 seconds later there is a buzzing sound coming from the rear of the car (where the trunk is). Also if I just switch the key to one step before turning on the car (so the car is not on yet, but all the lights in the board turn on etc.) the buzzing sound also happens. This sound last about 4 seconds. It is not too loud, but it is noticeable, I dont remember that sound happening a few months ago. Could this mean that my fuel pump is about to die? or is this normal?

It is your fuel pump, most GMs make that noise especially the newer models. Check it out on a friends car or something. Yours will be okay.

Its noise is normal, Its the fuel pump in the tank running,A relay shots it off after 5 to 10 seconds if the engine is not started.

may be......... but!!!!
have some one to turn the key mean while You locate from where exactly that vibration come from.........
.that Cadillac has an air compressor(12 volts) for the shock absorbers. And when the shock absorbers leaks will be constantly replenishing the leaked air.So ,turn on and off by It self

i think you may have hit the nail on the head there.
ask someone else to ride in the car with you and listen
do this because sometimes another person just is better able to pin point where the sound is coming from .
