While sitting in my front room I noticed a party developing on New Years eve afternoon, when all of a sudden everyone scattered just before a small blue hatchback car pulled to the curb with the drivers door next to the curb. The driver, wearing a white head band and a white tee shirt opend the driver's door, as he put his left foot on the street, he reached into the slot on the door and pulled out a white plastic bag. Holding it in his left hand he approached one of my neighbors and they went into my neighbors house. Approximately, a couple of hours later, one of the neighbor's wife made a sign toward my wife and my direction with the finger beside her nose. I don't have anything to do with my neighbors because they are hot headed red necks and drug addicts. At this point I am ignoring the situation, the last time I reported it to the corona police, the police sarcastically ask me if I had any friends in the neighbor hood? I'm starting to distrust the police in Corona.

I had to laugh when I saw a truck pull into the drive way at my neighbor's house with the words "Video Cam specialist". I suspect that the neighbors video taped their party guest and also the activity in the room where they were parting with the cocaine. I pitty their guest, since I suspect that my neighors will use the video tape to black mail their guests.

I live in a nice area of Corona, I suspect the police's attitude toward this kind of activity is creating a heaven for these guys. So no place is any safer or nicer.

I thank all of you for your response. But moving is the cowards way out. If the police won't stop the problem, then I guess I will have to.

There are several possible scenarios: One is that this was an isolated incident, your neighbors are crazy coked out rednecks. I have had my home broken into by such a person in the past (that problem took care of itself with fingerprints), and I don't recommend you stay in the neighborhood. The second scenario is that you witnessed a glimpse of a bigger organized crime sector that's operating in your area which would explain the police inaction.

Either way, you should probably start talking to a real-estate agent. Assuming you're talking about Corona, CA, the home situation right now is a buyer's market.

If the local police won't do anything, try contacting the DEA -- they're federal. Feds are usually harder to corrupt and more likely to do something about the situation.
But if you're in danger, or this is getting to be a nasty neighbor-to-neighbor squabble, then it might be time to hire a moving van.

sounds like your wife is a drug addict too. thats no good. leave her *** and move to a better part of town. Either that or you should have called the police when the party was going on. The video camera thing, I would guess that they are filming you trying to get some dirt on you in case you do report them.

Keep your mouth shut. Pack your bags. Move to another (safer) area of town. Sorry.
