My twins are now 5 months old.
They were eating about every 3 hours too. I would make 6 oz bottles because the amount they ate was constantly changing (so were they! They grow so fast!)
If you use a good bottle (I use the vent ones) you may not need to burp as often. I found one of my babies needed to be burped frequently and the other not at all.
Be patient. Don't worry. This is all normal stuff.
SOOOOONNNNN (i promise) she will be eating more at each feeding and sleeping longer.
And remember that if she isn't hungry, she won't eat. :-)
So you don't need to worry. If she stops, she's done. (for now)
Good luck!

That amount can be normal for that age. Our 4 1/2 mo old son usually doesn't stop to burp before he finishes the whole bottle. You don't want to force more formula on your baby if they aren't that hungry. That can lead to overfeeding. Believe me, they will let you know when they want more! Just be sure to burp good when she finishes the bottle. That amount of time between feedings also seems very normal.

as long as she is peeing and pooping she is getting enough most infants will stop eating when they are full, less and more frequent is what some infants want, if you are really concerned call her pediatrician and don't forget to ask at her baby well checkup, you don't have to stop and burp just make sure she gives a good burp after the feeding you know your own child and all baby's are different.

If she is hungry she will eat. But it is important to stop to burp her. Every 4 hours is normal to feed.

She's fine. If she's hungry, she'll eat more. Three or four ounces every three or four hours sounds about right to me. Go on and burp her, even if she gets mad. A baby with a tummy ache is no fun. She'll eventually get used to it. She's still adjusting. Good luck.

It appears like she's feeding only nice - no desire for nipple shields or something like that. Is she making loads of moist diapers - a minimum of five-6 an afternoon? if so, she's getting loads of milk. If she's eating for 20 minutes, then no longer eating for 20-half-hour in the previous the subsequent feeding, you're in basic terms feeding her approximately as quickly as each and every 40 5 minutes or so (count variety from the commencing up of one feeding to the commencing up of the subsequent). somewhat greater accepted than elementary possibly, yet no longer a issue. She ought to nonetheless be attempting to improve your furnish (early supplementing could reason somewhat decrease production on the commencing up) - if it is so she will have the skill to in all probability decelerate as your furnish adjusts. i could only carry on with it as long as she's making sufficient moist diapers. i'm no longer sparkling from what you pronounced however - is she no longer slumbering in any respect? Does she in no way sleep better than half-hour? Or does she sleep better at night, and the trend you're describing is only sunlight hours? some newborns are sleepier than others, yet maximum do spend a mind-blowing part of the time slumbering. If she's no longer slumbering lots in any respect, which you should to communicate to her wellbeing care expert approximately it. that may no longer a feeding issue however. additionally, she's in basic terms 12 days previous. in the previous she grew to become into born, she had no schedule in besides - only non-give up nutrition interior the process the umbilical twine and he or she ought to sleep or wake as she overjoyed. Being born is a vast adjustment! it may take quite a few months for toddlers to locate a relentless sleep/feeding schedule. each and every week from now she could be doing something thoroughly distinctive. the 2nd week of my daughter's life, she slept 6 hours right now just about each and every night. i grew to become into overjoyed! the subsequent week she grew to become into conscious from approximately 5pm to 3am, and that i grew to become into fortunate if she slept 3 hours right now. So only dangle in there - if she looks content, is making moist diapers, and her weight earnings at each and each checkup is suitable, then do no longer difficulty too lots.

Sounds about normal. If she's gaining weight as she should, then that would be confirmation. Kids tend to self-regulate pretty well, and your next (this is your first, isn't it?) will be less anxiety-producing.

that amount & frequency sound just about right. Keep in mind that formula is "richer" than breastmilk, it has more fat and takes a little longer to digest.
