Is it weird that I never cry at Funerals?

I don't exactly know why I don't but it doesn't matter who it is family , friends, I never get to the point of crying. I just don't feel sadness like everyone else does, I accept it for what it is and I move on. Is that wrong? I seem to feel worse for not crying then I do about the person Dying. Is this a bad thing? Does anyone else feel that way?

I know what you mean. When my friend killed himself, I was more shocked than sad. And the last time I lost a family member, I was in elementary school and I didn't cry then, I didn't feel the grief you would expect at the funeral.

you just haven't lost anyone super close to you yet, and for some reason you don't have empathy. there is nothing wrong with that. the fact that you feel bad for not crying shows you are a good person.

i dont think ive ever cried at a funeral but not for the reasons you gave... i think im so freaked out about the whole thing... i dont even like to get close to the casket... i think its insane that you would sit there and cry over the body of a loved one and have that last image in your head of them the way they werent... looking completly different from what they looked like when they were alive....

no. I never cry at funerals, mostly because i'm in shock

i feel tat's natural ...crying aint the only mean of expressing ur sadness, i normally also feel the same ,so cough up

no, i think if your instinct is to not cry than don't cry. unfortunately in my culture, we are looked down when we don't cry. i don't care what anyone says, i react by my instincts. sometimes i cry other times i don't.
