Always wear suits with one or two buttons on the front of the jacket? You never see one with a double breasted jacket. Why? Is this some sort of standard uniform for them or what?

Politicians are all uniform. Caring only about re-election day and don't forget the all mighty dollar. Wearing anything but this simple minded suit would mean they, in fact, have more than just a simple minds.(George Bush comes to mind Jr. not Sr.)

This is the uniform preferred and accepted by most thoughtless conformist.

It prevents them from having to waste time and mental effort on things such as creativity and imagination.

The double breasted jacket is not currently in fashion. If it were, they would be wearing them.
