Does anyone else think that the maufacturers of shirts, vests,
blouses etc, should use a less abrassive neck label, depicting
their company and go for a smooth printed one, that doesn't
sandpaper your neck to almost bleeding? It takes forever trying
to unpick it! Very cross, Tunbridge Wells.

Oh my God I SO AGREE WITH YOUR STATEMENT. Many a new item of clothing (when I was a child) was ruined when my Mum had the cut out itchy labels from the neck - indeed when I saw my Mum at Christmas she had that tell tale sign of stitches where she'd cut a hole as well as the label out! Frustrated (and itchy necked) of West Malling!!

Yes I agree, some of them are so itchy and make the clothing unbearable to wear. I have taken some out, but had to cut it and this has caused me to cut the stitching. Maybe someone should invent soft fluffy labels!

Yes, those are awful! I read recently that there are actually clothing label covers that folks use in Hollywood so they won't get scratched. If they just made the tags softer no one would have to worry about them.

i totally agree with you . I'm sick off cutting these out. my son's really bad every label he wants cut out which normally spoils the clothing. he was bleeding cause the label had scratched him off his new pyjamas

I agree! You have to keep itching your neck and you can't really rip it off because it will leave a hole in it!
