Can he be on probation hold?

I bonded my husband out on dec 24 but he is still in jail they told me he is on probation hold

It sounds to me like they are holding him on another charge---like a probation revocation. Was he already on probation when he got arrested this last time. Alot of times they won't let you bond out on a probation revo until you see the judge.
