please walk me through the steps of loading music on an mp3 player. give me the best program to use or the programs you use. THANKS! I appreciate your help!

Well, it depends on which one you have. First install the CD that came with it (if one came with it). Then connect your mp3 player to your computer with the USB cable. Your computer should reconnise it.
Then go to my music or were ever you have your music saved and click(don't let go) on the song you'd like to transfer and drag it to your mp3 -player and let go. Then it will say transfering files and then it will be on you mp3-player.

You really need to create another question that says what kind of MP3 player it is and its model.

That would help a lot.

I use Limewire to get music; Windows Media Player to put it in my mp3.

-After I get my music, I go to WMP. The music is under my library. If it isn't, go to the drop-down under the 'Library' tab and 'Add to Library'. Click the second option, then OK.

-Have your mp3 hooked up to the comp. Click on the 'Sync' tab.

-Click and drag the songs you want on your mp3 to the list on the right. When you're done, click 'Start Sync'.
