I don't think his credibility changed one way or the other. You have to have credibility before you can lose it, and he didn't have any to begin with. That bristly fat man loves to take credit for the whole Roger Smith/GM thing but the truth is a whole different matter.
The New York State Policemens and Firemens Retirement System was the single largest stockholder in GM, and the Comptroller of New York saw that the mismanagement was costing the Retirement System money so he had the Attorney General of New York sue Smith & Co. for mismanaging the company and got them booted. Fatso had nothing to do with it.

Probably.
I didn't find him terribly credible before he released Fahrenheit 9/11.

Before or after, MM is just a blubber-butt running around with a camera and creating worthless one-sided documentaries.
If I owned the Detroit Tigers, I would sue his sorry hide for bringing shame on my baseball team.

Moore offers a different point of view that's all.... just like Rush he offers his opinions to the realities he sees.....
when you say that Fahrenheit 9-11 lacks credibility... please be specific because i would like to know where he was wrong in it.......
Bush has conceded that Iraq had nothing to do w/ Al-Qaeda and 9-11 which was the premise of the movie

I liked his movie about the auto industry (Roger and Me), but then his ego and his hatred for Bush grew even larger than the giant tub of goo he carries around under his shirt.
He clearly jumped the shark with Fahrenheit, but still has a chance to redeem himself with his new movie about healthcare.

Bowling for Columbine was just as bad. He twisted things to attack gun rights and ambushed poor Charlton Heston, the most respected civil rights leader in the US.

I watched F9/11 with an open mind.....as did many in the theater I attended judging from their reactions upon exit [several were conservatives who had 'second thoughts']
His credibility ROSE with me and many others as subsequent 'releases of information' gave support to his allegations re: Iraq and other issues
