Let's face it - we all have problems. But if we think about it, everyone here has a computer (or access to one) so we can't be terribly poor. Most of us have a home to go to, and a car to drive, and food on our tables. There's a lot of people who don't. So do you realise you're lucky?

I suppose referring to things money can get you is just the tip of the iceburg. Better than that - though again, they have their problems, I have a family that loves me, and a gorgeous man to come home to and cuddle at night.

I've been out of a lot of the things money can buy at different times in my life, but these people made it bearable and others of good will helped us back onto our feet. I knew I was lucky, even when the $hit hit the fan.

You're 100% right. Alot of people forget about that. I know when I start having a pity party for myself, I forget that it could always be worse. No matter how down we feel about our lives, there are people that are a whole lot worse off than we can ever imagine. I'm not even talking about our third world countries. I'm talking about people right here in our own towns we live in. There are people every day that are fighting for their lives in hospitals all over. So when we are feeling down about every day life situations, we should remember how worse off we could be.

that's a good "question", u are right, the thing we like to do the most is complaining, and talkinga bt "our bad luck" or "our problems"
actually many of us has never knew what a real problem mean, the prouv, look around you, watch the news, and realise how many homeless, poor, crazy, sick, aids contaminated, war victims persons exicting and living with us, around us!
many of poeple was borned with no family, no home, many of them was borned with a virus on his or her blood...the eronic, is that they look more optimist sometimes than some "lucky" poeple!
we have to realise that the fact of being able to move, to speak, to read and write, to hear, to run, to study, to speak many languages, to have a computer, or to be able to go to the net café and to pay the connexion fees, the fact of aving friends, families, the fact of being still alive and healthy is a biig luck, it's a big Gift from God, for what we should be thankful..
yes, we are lucky, and we should really feel it, and enjoy our life, and not forget to make something to make the real unlucky persons luckier!!

I have a job, a roof over my head, two happy healthy kids, and an awesome family. All the bad stuff in my life doesn't seem so bad when I put it into perspective
