Does this really matter?

The softness of toilet paper...I know it sounds silly, but my family says the toilet paper is hard. Why do you preffer what that type you do without being gross...

I think it matters. I have found a difference between cheap toilet paper, and something a little more expensive. But it's not a top priority for me.
