I beleive there is a stray cat that climbs on my roof and sprays. I live in the attic of my house and my whole room smells like it! I've lived in this house for 20 years and this room was just redone so I know its not the house. My father said he saw a cat on the roof one time and this smell comes back constantly. I dont know what to do to get rid of the smell AND the cat.

There are spray attachments that you can buy to wash your car(the soap comes out of the end of the hose)If you have one put some vinegar and soap in the sprayer and wash the roof on that side of the house.Try just washing with a hose(when the cat is up there)I would call animal control and ask for a trap to get rid of the cat.....

Get a spray bottle that fits on a garden hose and put bleach in it. Rinse off the roof with that. Sprinkle cayenne pepper all around the house where the cat might be climbing up. You'll have to sprinkle the pepper a few times a week- maybe forever. Cats are stubborn.
